Girondins de Bordeaux Cycling Coach

I started competitive road cycling at the age of 15.

Good sprinter, the victories on road quickly follow one another, until becoming French university champion on road and vice-champion of France university in individual pursuit on track cycling the same year (1981).

Then, I joined the Bataillon de Joinville, French military team, with which I won the bronze medal at the military world championships in track cycling team pursuit (1983).

I was preselected for the Olympic Games, but a very unfortunate fall in a preparatory race deprived me of the selection (1984).

Then I became a sales engineer in a multinational company until 2013, when I joined the Girondins de Bordeaux as coach and assistant sports director of the women’s team Macogep Tornatech Girondins de Bordeaux from 2018, with the aim of bringing to the team my experience in high-level cycling and share my passion for this sport.
