After a short break during which she chose to focus solely on her collegiate studies, Émilie made her return to bike racing in 2018. This process taught her a lot as an athlete, challenged her, both mentally and physically, and made her realize how lucky she was to be able to pursue her passion. It is in this state of mind that, over the past two years, she has raced not only in Canada, but also in Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States, and put forth results that have allowed her to join Macogep-Tornatech-Girondins de Bordeaux for the 2020 season. This year will mark Émilie’s first opportunity to race in Europe. With the work she did for the team at the Dubai Women’s Tour in February, there is no question that she will be useful in the races and will contribute to putting the team on the map across the pond.
