PRESENTATION

Frédérique started racing bikes at the age of seven. She first competed in mountain biking, and did so for more than 12 years, but since 2018 she has devoted herself entirely to road cycling. In 2020, Frédérique begins her fifth season of road racing and her fourth season with Macogep-Tornatech-Girondins de Bordeaux. She excels at climbing, but she is versatile and can hold her ground on different types of terrain. As such, she often ends up in breakaways. Furthermore, Frédérique has exceptional bike handling skills that allow her to always stay towards the front of the peloton. Frédérique is especially motivated for this coming season because she will have the opportunity to mentor her younger sisters Mireille and Juliette, who followed in her footsteps first in high-level cycling and then within the team. Indeed, Frédérique will be a reassuring presence for both her sisters and her other teammates, as she is one of the most experienced riders on the team.
